I had an amazing time at this digital agency woking with some of the best designers in the world programming licensed product CD-ROMs and web based projects for global brands in both the corporate and entertainment fields. Properties included Stargate SG-1, Westlife, Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes and Warner Bros Music.
A classic “web guy” role I had a wide range of responsibilities; UI design for web based schools software; redesigning and maintaining the company‘s various online presences; designing ads and brochures for print and online; producing demo and promotional videos for use at trade exhibitions, web consultant to the software development team.
Some of the more substantial roles I’ve had over this period have included working at Marks and Spencer, Space NK and Investec. Whilst at marketing agencies, including the prestigious Oliver, Leo Burnett, Native and MullenLowe, I worked on projects for clients including Samsung, Honda, Eurosport, the RAF, Philips, Oracle, Thames Water, Visit England, Pfizer and Deutsche Bank.
Typical requirements have been WordPress builds, WP enhancements / fixes etc., template creation, HTML5 Banners and front end work for Demandware sites.
Positions included stints at prestigious digital agencies including So Creative, Small Back Room, AnalogFolk and The Crocodile, working on projects for clients including Oasis Stores Ltd., EMC, RSA, Blinkbox Books (rip), Ben & Jerry’s and Sainsbury’s. In general, the projects I’ve worked on in a contract capacity have required an experienced, creative approach when creating functional, responsive sites that remain faithful to the original designs.
